We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Solar PV Engineers to join our field operations team in Oxford and the surrounding areas. You'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining domestic solar PV systems, helping homeowners maximise performance, safety and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults on domestic solar PV systems.
- Carry out inspections, testing and remedial works.
- Replace faulty inverters, panels, isolators and associated equipment.
- Complete digital job reports and identify further works where required.
- Deliver excellent customer service while working in occupied homes.
- Work safely and in line with industry regulations and company procedures.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience carrying out maintenance, repairs, or installations on domestic Solar PV systems.
- Recognized electrical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, 18th Edition / BS 7671).
- Dedicated Solar PV qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2399, LOGIC, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Valid UK Driving Licence (essential for field service travel).
- Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a polite, professional customer-facing manner.
