Overview of the role
The primary purpose of this role is to be the Brand Ambassador for Sureserve Compliance Electrical (SCE). You will provide practical and effective assistance to the business with creation of and co‑ordination of marketing‑related communication, internal and external, liaising with external clients, partners and internal management/employees. You will have strong communication (written and verbal) skills, and be responsible for creating content for our internal Intranet, and external social media presence, including keeping our websites up to date and accurate with information to help “sell” our business and our services.
Organisation of, and attendance at, industry‑relevant Events to promote the services and businesses of our Group, with a strong understanding of what we do, and bringing creative ideas for our digital and other marketing content to Management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead on the graphic design of various business‑led communications e.g. tender submissions, proposals, internal & external marketing materials.
- Liaise with senior management to ensure employer brand awareness, ensuring it is aligned with Sureserve Group.
- Assist in the creation of, and support the development and execution of, marketing strategies to promote our Group’s services to Housing Associations and Local Authorities.
- Work with Group Marketing in the creation of compelling and engaging external marketing materials, including brochures, case studies, website content, and social media posts across all Companies within the SCE group.
- Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all media channels.
- Collaborate with teams to improve communication across SCE.
- Develop and maintain the company website and social media platforms.
- Produce monthly/ad‑hoc reports to senior management as required.
- Support the development and growth of the SharePoint Intranet.
- Sourcing of content (source images / copywriting / audio content).
- Liaise with client marketing teams (if required) to ensure content is as required before submission and brand continuity is considered.
- Support with the implementation and management of social media platforms to grow our social media presence.
- Support with the creation and scheduling of engaging content, monitor social media analytics, and interact with followers.
- Develop content plans for each social media platform.
- Plan and co‑ordinate internal events and workshops.
- Plan and organise industry external events.
- Support with displays, posters and literature required at all events.
- Attend external events as appropriate to promote our business and support other team members.
- Attend networking opportunities.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience
- Brand, marketing, and communication experience.
- Diploma / degree in Marketing or vast experience in implementing brand and marketing strategies.
- Experience in Local Authority / Social Housing (Desirable).
- Knowledge of digital marketing.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Driving licence.
- Disclosure check.
What We Offer
Salary – £35,000 per annum. 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. 24 days annual leave +
