Sureserve Compliance Fire, part of the Sureserve Group, are specialists in the supply, installation and maintenance of fire safety and security systems. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Business & Revenue Support Officer for our Horsham office. This role primarily focuses on billing, while also handling client inquiries and submitting administrative information to client portals.
Key Responsibilities
- Completion of application process as part of client billing cycle.
- Creation and completion of sales invoicing to customers.
- Ensure accurate sales ordering and job processing, following contract-specific procedures.
- Monitor and track unbilled revenues, ensuring all job costs are accounted for.
- Supporting month-end billing and revenue close, including analysis of revenue, WIP and gross margin.
- Understand and contribute to the team’s key business objectives and success metrics.
- Collaborate with operational teams and SLT to support administration and business decisions.
- Assist with month-end reports, revenue & WIP analysis, ad-hoc reports and provide summaries for management.
- Provide ad-hoc contract information and attend relevant meetings, such as mobilisation meetings.
- Supporting the broader finance function with other ad-hoc tasks, as required.
Requirements
- Able to work efficiently and accurately and under own initiative.
- Strong attention to detail and dealing with complex data.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong competency using Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in a billing/revenue, finance and/or administration background is preferable, with understanding of WIP and accruals being beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to communicate financial and commercial information to a non-finance audience.
- Microsoft Business Central experience would be an advantage but not essential.
- A ‘can do’ approach is essential.
