Role Overview: Responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and repair of Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) systems within residential and commercial properties. This role requires a reliable professional with detailed knowledge of renewable energy systems who can manage complex problems effectively, communicate proficiently, and adapt smoothly to changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain renewable heating systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Perform routine maintenance on heating systems to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot heating system issues
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
- Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns
Skills & Experience:
- Valid domestic gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
- NICEIC Air Source Heat Pumps (essential)
- NICEIC Water Regulations qualification (essential)
- NICEIC Unvented Water Systems G3 qualification (essential)
- NICEIC Energy Efficiency Qualification (essential)
- Valid UK driving licence (essential)
- Solar PV / Solar Thermal experience is desirable but not essential
- Proven, practical experience as an ASHP Renewable Heating Engineer
- Technical understanding of renewable systems and an understanding of technical aspects of energy and environmental efficiency
- Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
