Gas Engineer – Service & Repair

Role Overview
The primary responsibility of our Gas Engineers is to maintain and repair heating systems in our clients\’ properties. Engineers will ensure that heating and hot‑water systems operate efficiently and safely, and that any repairs are completed in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out service and maintenance works on a range of domestic properties across the region.
- Provide high levels of customer care when dealing with clients and tenants to meet required quality standards.
- Communicate updates and progress of work, completing required paperwork electronically and manually.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH records.
- Comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures to ensure relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications; minimum required: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential).
- Valid UK driving licence (essential).
- Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic environment.
- Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Professional and friendly attitude with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and tenants.
