Role:
- The purpose of the role is to carry out electrical installation testing in our customer’s properties, and produce reports to meet the requirements of BS7671 while always maintaining a safe working environment.
- Carry out periodic inspections of clients’ electrical installations in accordance with the current edition of BS7671.
- Produce Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) which meets the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies (e.g., NICEIC).
- Perform other electrical tests and inspections, and produce the appropriate documentation in accordance with the current edition of BS7671.
- Always adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Keep abreast of changes and amendments of standards, regulations, and best practices within the electrical industry.
- Complete follow-on remedial works, where required.
- Installation/replacement of domestic fire protection systems to LD2/LD3.
The successful candidate will have:
- City & Guilds NVQ level 3
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/5
- City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience within Social Housing desirable, but not essential.
- Experience delivering high levels of customer service.
- The ability to work with a diverse customer base.
