We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. We are London’s largest, most successful gas contractor, focusing on long-term contracts with our clients to offer our staff job security and progression opportunities.
Role Hours: 8-5 Monday to Friday
Pay: £55-60k
Duties:
- To manage the inspectors including dealing with poor surveys
- To manage the Field staff assigned (Installers, apprentices, builders, wet workers), including using post inspection information and tracker information
- To run regular Activity Appointment reports on those operatives assigned and review
- To deal with sickness and holiday requests for all staff assigned
- Weekly inspections on Installers – block 2 mornings per week for un-announced visits
- Assist with the management of one-off install projects
- Sign off wages and timesheets for all staff assigned and deal with queries
- Attend Client meetings when needed
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer (holding current ACS qualification)
- Previous Area Manager experience preferably from a social housing/construction background
- Able to provide a high level of courteous, professional customer service
- Highly proficient in MS Office, in particular Outlook and Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible attitude with strong organisational skills
