Role Overview: Undertake effective delivery, management, and compliance of gas installation programmes across the housing association/client contracts. Lead the domestic installation team, oversee a full installs team for new installations, replacements, upgrades and major works to ensure they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and fully compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct gas installation audits and analyse resident feedback to challenge poor performance and drive continuous improvement and value for money.
  • Produce regular performance, financial and compliance reports for senior management.
  • Use data and insights to improve programme delivery, efficiency and resident outcomes.
  • Systematically identify and deliver continuous improvement and cost savings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential).
  • Full UK driving licence (essential).
  • Proven experience managing gas installation programmes within social housing, local authority or regulated housing environment (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of gas safety legislation, compliance and best practice.
  • Experience managing contractors and budgets.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
