We are looking to bring onboard Electricians to carry out electrical work in Solar PV, Battery Storage and ASHP installation across Cumbria, Northumberland and Yorkshire.
Responsibilities
- Installation & Maintenance: Install, repair, renew, test, and maintain Solar PV and Renewable systems.
- Testing & Certification: Inspect, test, and issue certification for all electrical installations and repairs (including fixed wiring circuits).
- Diagnostics: Carry out fault diagnosis on-site and report non-electrical faults to the Line Manager.
- Safety: Prepare sites for safe working, conduct on-site risk assessments, and comply with all H&S policies.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of all work undertaken, including maintenance and repair logs.
- Professional Development: Keep trade qualifications up to date and attend training as instructed by management.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Experience in a similar role - Solar PV, Battery Storage experience is highly desired.
- Approved recognized trade qualification (City & Guilds, SVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Inspection & Testing Certificate.
- Valid CSCS or ECS card.
- Working knowledge of all current Health and Safety legislation.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively to customers and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working within a team environment.
- Personable with the ability to handle all aspects of customer service.
- Full UK Driving License and subject to a Disclosure Check/DBS.
