Role Overview: Responsible for the servicing and repair of ASHP systems within residential and commercial properties. This role requires a reliable professional with detailed knowledge of renewable energy systems who can manage complex problems effectively, communicate proficiently, and adapt smoothly to changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain, and repair renewable energy systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct site assessments and audits to evaluate system efficiency and recommend improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime for clients.
  • Provide training and support to clients on the operation and maintenance of their renewable energy systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions for system enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities and report on system performance.

Skills & Experience:

  • Valid domestic gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential).
  • NICEIC Air Source Heat Pumps (essential).
  • NICEIC Water Regulations qualification (essential).
  • NICEIC Unvented Water Systems G3 qualification (essential).
  • NICEIC Energy Efficiency Qualification (essential).
  • Valid UK driving licence (essential).
  • Solar PV / Solar Thermal experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Proven, practical experience as an ASHP Renewable Heating Engineer.
  • Technical understanding of renewable systems and an understanding of technical aspects of energy and environmental efficiency.
  • Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants.
