We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician to join our Regeneration (Planned Works) team. You will carry out electrical installation, replacement, testing, inspection, and maintenance works that form a crucial part of planned refurbishments and upgrades in residential and public sector properties. You will work collaboratively to deliver high-quality, compliant, and energy-efficient solutions in accordance with regulations and company standards.
The role:
- Deliver electrical installations, rewires, upgrades, and planned maintenance across both occupied and void properties.
- Carry out electrical testing, inspections, EICRs, and fault-finding on domestic and communal systems, producing accurate certificates and reports.
- Install, repair, and replace consumer units, lighting systems, switches, sockets, and associated wiring to required specifications.
- Ensure all work meets current IEE Wiring Regulations, Health & Safety standards, and Sureserve compliance procedures.
- Proactively identify additional works or improvements and communicate these clearly to supervisors or site managers.
- Work collaboratively with other trades and site teams to meet programme deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
- Engage professionally with residents when required, ensuring excellent customer service and minimal disruption.
Essential skills & experience:
- City & Guilds, SVQ level 3 or equivalent.
- Trained to current regulations (18th Edition), hold an inspections & testing certificate.
- CSCS or ECS card.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
Desirable:
- Renewable Fuels (Solar PV; Solar Thermal; Air Sourced Heat Pumps) City & Guilds or equivalent BPEC.
