Role Overview:
Our company is growing, and we have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager (Electrical Bias) to join Sureserve Energy Services and help support the delivery of our contracts throughout Scotland.
The role of the Operations Manager is to manage multiple projects within the Energy Efficiency sector. For this role we are ideally you will have experience gained in the energy efficiency or construction sectors but not essential.
What will you be doing?
Day-to-day management of your team; responding to queries and carrying out visits of works whilst ensuring the Clients target dates are adhered to and any variations notified immediately.
Sureserve are approved contractors of NICEIC governing body. Part of role would ensure compliance for annual audit from governing body (preparing for the assessment and fulfilling role as Qualified Supervisor as defined by NICEIC). This will include but is not limited to ensuring Company accreditations are up-to-date and working with the Health and Safety department to prepare for internal and external audits.
Ensuring Health & Safety & Environmental procedures and standards are adhered to, and all certification and documentation is completed accurately.
To be fully conversant with all aspects of electrical installation, always ensuring compliance with the IEE Wiring Regulations, and that the appropriate materials used.
Supporting the Health and Safety Department by investigating electrical incidents and reporting accurately and fully.
What Should You Have?
Fully experienced Electrical Operations Manager with a proven track record in delivery of electrical contracts and managing electrical teams of both direct labour and contractors.
Experience in Domestic and Social Housing background.
The post holder will also be initially responsible for business generation supported by the National Electrical Manager
Must be experienced primarily in all aspects of field management including Health and safety, quality and compliance management and P&L delivery.
Must be fully experienced in the domestic and commercial market and must possess exceptional discipline in providing ensuring all work streams are delivered in a safe manner and on time.
Ability to monitor and Assess performance of team to achieve greatest efficiency and outputs and monitor and implement measures to improve KPI\’s.
Ensure current staff are fully compliant with current regulations and Company procedures. Work with Health and Safety to ensure training matrix is up-to-date and support Training Administration team to ensure courses are booked in advance to maintain qualifications.
