We are on the lookout for an experienced and dedicated renewables engineer to join our team. This role requires a reliable professional with detailed knowledge of renewable energy systems who can manage complex problems effectively, communicate proficiently, and adapt smoothly to changes. The successful candidate will possess excellent time management skills and a positive attitude, along with a proven ability in delivering high-quality customer service within a team environment.
Overview of Role:
The Renewables Installation Engineer will be responsible for the installation of renewable energy heating and hot water systems to our clients' properties. The role will also involve liaising directly with clients, assessing their specific requirements, and providing bespoke solutions to meet their needs. Close collaboration with our engineering and customer service teams will be vital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing faults within renewable energy central heating and hot water systems across the region.
- Providing technical support and advice to customers and colleagues.
- Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.
- Communicating updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.
- Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH Records, are adhered to during daily work.
- Complying with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.
Key Requirements & Attributes:
- With a friendly and professional attitude, you will build strong relationships with our clients and their tenants, ensuring all works meet the required standards.
- Experience in renewable energy heating and hot water systems is essential for this role.
- Skilled at problem solving and decision making.
- Gas qualifications are desirable for this role.
- It is important that we complete all the appropriate criminal and reference checks before you start working with us.
- Valid Driving License.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm with 1 hour for lunch.
