About Sureserve Energy Services Meters: Sureserve Energy Services Meters (formerly Providor), a proud subsidiary of Sureserve Group Limited, is a leading provider of domestic smart meter installations across the UK, working with three of the "Big Six" energy suppliers. We are dedicated to advancing energy efficiency and sustainability through innovative metering solutions. Our mission is to empower consumers and businesses with accurate, real-time data, enabling informed energy decisions. Purpose of the role: To support the Industry Data department in ensuring data quality across the Sureserve Energy Services Meters Business. Ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of data is passed through Sureserve Energy Services Meters systems. In particular ensuring industry data flows are exchanged inline with BSCP, RGMA and commercial service levels. To understand and analyse industry data issues and communicate to key stakeholders in the Sureserve Energy Services Meters business. Key Responsibilities: Investigating and Resolving data exceptions on metering worksheet error queues. Investigating and Resolving dataflow exceptions in user error queues. Investigating and Resolving data exceptions falling out of the interface between work management systems and data flow management capabilities. Ad hoc report production, manipulating data in Excel formats. Ad hoc investigation into data integrity issues. Reviewing and actioning industry data queries. Analyse industry data and interpret unusual patterns and possible causes. Providing first line service to client queries and reports. The Individual: Working knowledge of energy industry operations, settlements and handling of data flows Strong technical/IT ability, in particular – Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills.
