Sureserve Compliance Fire is a specialist in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire safety and electrical systems, providing fire and electrical compliance and testing services. This covers a comprehensive range of physical infrastructure and safety considerations required for a building to meet regulatory requirements. Role overview: The purpose of this role is to work with various clients within the Social Housing and Local Authority sector to install, test and repair electrical systems and equipment.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Experience in domestic EICRs and social housing essential
  • The maintenance, installation and repair of electrical systems within our portfolios.
  • Accountability for general reactive maintenance, fault finding, ensuring satisfactory fault rectification.
  • Undertaking general maintenance tasks and survey inspections in areas including confined spaces and at height.

Skills and experience:

  • Qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent (essential)
  • Test & Inspection Qualification (desirable)
  • Must have a certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements for Electrical Installations 18th Edition.
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems.
