This covers a comprehensive range of physical infrastructure and safety considerations required for a building to meet regulatory requirements. Role overview: The purpose of this role is to work with various clients within the Social Housing and Local Authority sector to install, test and repair electrical systems and equipment.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Experience in domestic EICRs and social housing essential
- The maintenance, installation and repair of electrical systems within our portfolios.
- Accountability for general reactive maintenance, fault finding, ensuring satisfactory fault rectification.
- Undertaking general maintenance tasks and survey inspections in areas including confined spaces and at height.
Skills and experience:
- Qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent (essential)
- Test & Inspection Qualification (desirable)
- Must have a certificate in BS7671 - The Requirements for Electrical Installations 18th Edition.
- Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems.
