We are looking for a high-calibre FP&A Manager to lead the financial heart of our Sureserve Energy Services division. This isn't a "business as usual" reporting role. This is a high-visibility, value-creation position designed for a strategic finance professional who thrives on transaction-led growth, data-driven storytelling, and the fast-paced nature of Private Equity. If you have a background in Transaction Services or high-performance Commercial Finance and want to be a primary architect of our journey to £1bn, we want to hear from you.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead the divisions management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Drive continuous improvement in modelling, scenario analysis, and performance tracking.
- Partner with operating company FP&As and FAs to understand performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Champion data-driven decision-making, ensuring high-quality financial and operational data across the division.
- Enhance reporting automation and analytical capability; work closely with IT and data teams to improve structures and system integration.
- Utilize planning tools such as Pigment (experience is beneficial but not essential).
Required skills and experience:
- Demonstrable success in transaction services, private equity reporting, or similar high-performance finance environments.
- Proven experience in FP&A, group reporting, or commercial finance within a multi-entity organisation.
- Exceptional financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Expertise in translating complex financial datasets into high-impact, board-level presentations and investment committee decks.
- Experience with planning/reporting tools (e.g., Pigment) is advantageous.
- Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) is preferred.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and data-centric.
- Commercially minded with a proactive and resilient approach.
- Comfortable challenging assumptions and operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
