The individual will be the driving force in conducting in-depth assessments of domestic properties, ensuring all heating solutions recommended meet regulatory standards and align with the customer's needs and budget considerations. n \nDealing with the day-to-day operational management of operatives and providing technical support, encouragement, and training for all engineers to deliver an agreed volume of completed jobs per week, including whilst engineers are on call.\n \n Provide a \"Technical Section\" during the structured monthly toolbox talk meeting in a consistent manor across the business. This includes all the latest updates and any issues identified in completed quality checks. \n Encourage understanding of the need for Quality of Work and professional attitudes for future development of the business, creating an environment which encourages employee development, good employee relations, teambuilding, and quality standards. \n Become a key contact for clients to assist in developing relations and assisting with the resolution of problematic jobs, attend, and facilitate the resolution of customer complaints, including site visits and provide a technical overview \n Ensure the Clients contractual and specific requirements are met, and where possible surpassed. \n Support the Regional Manager & Head of Region with the training requirements and technical support for both existing engineers and the new starter induction and training processes. \n Work closely with the Head of SHEQ , act as a champion to the Sureserve Compliance Central Competency Scheme, to ensure updates and changes are communicated effectively to engineers, maintaining records, and identifying training needs. \n Ensure engineers actively participate in the collection of competence evidence and that each engineer is only allocated work which falls within their scope of competencies \n Carry out Quality Checks and Health and Safety audits to a pre-determined agreed target volume. \n Cover for the role of Regional Manager as and when required. \n Required Attributes: \n \n Relevant Industry Qualifications: Possess NVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilation or equivalent. \Demonstrable practical experience in heating system surveys or domestic installation projects. \n Detail-Oriented: Proven ability to deliver accurate and detailed survey reports. \n Excellent leadership and communication skills \n Driving License: Full UK driving license is essential. \n \n 5 days per week (Mon - Fri) 8am to 5pm - 40 hrs based out of our local office \n 1 hour for lunch daily, call out rota to go on doing evenings & weekend work.\n What We Offer: \n \n Employee wellbeing programme, occupational health support, telephone support- counselling for staff \n Service level awarded annual leave \n Technical training and certifications relevant to the role. \n Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Packages \n Dental/Healthcare cash plan \n Cycle to Work Scheme \n Electric Vehicle Leasing Scheme \n Gender & Equality Working Group \n Sureserve Academy- a platform for devel
