Are you looking for a new challenge? Surepath Homes are opening their first children's home in Sheffield and are seeking a full time Deputy Manager to support the operational running of the home. You will lead by example, ensuring high-quality care, safeguarding, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Registered Manager with day-to-day operations and compliance.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop staff members.
  • Ensure high standards of safeguarding and welfare.
  • Contribute to care planning and progress reviews for each young person.
  • Oversee rota planning and ensure adequate staff cover.
  • Manage incidents and emergencies effectively.
  • Build positive relationships with Local Authorities, families, and professionals.

About You:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a children's home, of which 12 months must have been in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and children’s legislation.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
