Role Description

This full-time role for an Experienced, Gas Safe registered, Plumbing & Heating Engineer is based in Leigh-On-Sea. The engineer will carry out installation, servicing, and repair of plumbing, heating and related systems across domestic and new-build properties. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing faults, performing maintenance and upgrades, installing boilers and heating systems and supporting air conditioning and general property maintenance as required. The role involves attending scheduled and call-outs, completing accurate job reports and ensuring compliance with relevant standards. The engineer will interact regularly with clients, site teams and office staff, providing clear communication, professional advice and a high level of customer service.

Qualifications & Experience

• Gas Safe Registered – Must hold a valid Gas Safe registration with the relevant qualifications.
• Minimum 5 Years’ Industry Experience Preferred – Proven experience across all aspects of domestic plumbing and heating.
• Boiler Installations – Extensive experience in installing, replacing and commissioning domestic gas boilers.
• Boiler Servicing & Maintenance – Fully competent in servicing and maintaining a wide range of boiler makes and models.
• Boiler Breakdowns & Diagnostics – Highly experienced in fault finding, diagnosing and repairing boiler faults efficiently.
• General Plumbing – Fully proficient in all aspects of plumbing, including installations, maintenance, repairs, leaks, pipework and general plumbing works.
• Bathrooms & Sanitaryware – Experienced in installing, repairing and replacing toilets, basins, taps, showers, baths and associated plumbing.
• Central Heating Systems – Experienced in installing, maintaining, repairing and diagnosing faults across complete heating systems, including radiators, valves, pumps and controls.
• Hot Water Systems – Experienced in installing, servicing and repairing vented and unvented hot water cylinders, with relevant qualifications where required.
• Fault Finding & Problem Solving – Strong technical knowledge and the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of plumbing and heating issues.
• Full valid driving license and willingness to travel to sites across - Essential.
