Location: Bedford / Milton Keynes / Northampton borders

Salary: £50K - £60K depending on experience plus car allowance of £450 per month

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

The Role:

Our client is a well-established and highly respected local business operating within the security sector. They are now seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead, develop, and take ownership of their service department. This is a key leadership role where you will ensure exceptional customer experience and consistently high service standards. You will manage both on-site and remote engineers while acting as a central technical and operational point of contact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of service engineers, including remote workers
  • Manage helpdesk and service coordination staff
  • Provide technical support remotely and on-site when required
  • Ensure all SLAs and KPIs are met or exceeded
  • Professionally handle escalated service issues and customer concerns
  • Drive continuous improvement across service delivery and customer satisfaction

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience within security systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, or a similar environment
  • Strong technical background with hands-on problem-solving capability
  • Experience working within an NSI-approved or regulated security setting
  • Proven people-management skills with a hands-on leadership approach
  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
