SureCare Central London is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dementia‑trained Care Assistants to support individuals living with dementia in their own homes and in community settings. This is a rewarding role where you will make a real difference by promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life through person‑centred dementia care.
Responsibilities
- Providing high‑quality dementia care in line with individual care plans
- Supporting clients with personal care, medication prompts, and daily routines
- Offering emotional reassurance and meaningful companionship
- Using effective communication techniques to support individuals with memory loss
- Monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ wellbeing
- Working in line with CQC regulations, company policies, and best practice
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience supporting individuals living with dementia
- Completion of dementia awareness or dementia care training (or willingness to undertake training)
- A caring, patient, and respectful approach
- Good written and spoken English
- Right to work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
Desirable (but not essential)
- NVQ / QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care
- Experience in home care, supported living, or residential settings
- Medication administration training
- Knowledge of person‑centred and life‑story approaches
