*Job Summary* We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients experiencing mental health issues, ensuring their safety and well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of patient care and anatomy, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. *Duties* * Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ mental health needs and develop individualised care plans. * Administer medications and monitor patient responses, ensuring adherence to prescribed treatments. * Provide emotional support and counselling to patients and their families, fostering a therapeutic environment. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement treatment strategies and evaluate patient progress. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. * Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health nursing. * Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, employing de-escalation techniques to ensure patient safety. *Requirements* * Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Mental Health Nurse. * PMVA Certified * Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices, particularly in mental health settings. * Understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to mental health conditions. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients. * Ability to work effectively within a team while also demonstrating initiative in patient care. * Compassionate approach with strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy towards patients’ experiences. * Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the service needs.
