We are looking for a kind, dependable, and capable female live-in carer to support elderly service users in their own home. This is a calm and fulfilling role, ideal for carers who enjoy providing companionship and practical support with some personal care duties.
About the Role:
We are seeking a kind, patient, and experienced Female Live-In Carer who drives and does not require sponsorship to provide full-time, in-home care and companionship to elderly service users ranging from low to high dependability in a comfortable and welcoming home environment. You will play a vital role in enhancing the service users' quality of life, promoting their independence where possible, and ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene)
- Assisting with medication management
- Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding if necessary
- Housekeeping and laundry
- Offering emotional support and companionship
- Supporting mobility and daily routines
- Monitoring health and well-being and reporting any concerns
- Driving patients to and from appointments
Requirements:
- Female applicant only (Genuine Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010)
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle - mileage reimbursed
- Right to work in the UK - NO SPONSORSHIP
- Previous care experience
