We are actively looking for dedicated and skilled HGV 2 Drivers to work for a top logistics company based in Harlow, Essex. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service.

AM STARTS

Rate - £21.67 an hour / £32.50 Overtime

WEEKLY PAY !! PAYE Only

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting furniture for about 10 different clients. This includes installing the products, which can be weighty, covering between 15 - 25 drops a day.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive primarily HGV Class 2 commercial vehicles.
  • Transport goods and materials from one location to another.
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of cargo.
  • Follow traffic laws and regulations at all times.
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Keep accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
  • Possess a valid UK HGV C or CE driving licence with the appropriate cards such as CPC and Tacho Cards.
  • Newly Qualified HGV Drivers Accepted.
  • Ability to load and offload furniture to and from the vehicle safely.
  • Excellent driving record with no major endorsements and a maximum of 6 points.
  • Strong communication skills and a flexible, customer-oriented approach to your work.
