We are currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our team in Whittlesey. The role involves safely and efficiently moving trailers around a busy factory site, ensuring smooth site operations at all times.
Shifts: 4 on 4 off 22:00-06:00
Pay: £19.31 Monday - Friday, £20.88 Weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Shunting trailers around the factory site
- Opening and closing trailer sheets as required
- Working closely with site teams to ensure efficient trailer movements
- Adhering to all site safety and operational procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Minimum 6 months of Class 1 driving experience
- Shunting experience is required
- Previous tug experience desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
