A national freight company is currently seeking skilled HGV Class 1 Drivers to join its busy network of depots across London and the South East of England.
The Role
- Primarily trunking, you will be responsible for transporting loads safely and efficiently from depot to depot.
Responsibilities
- Transport loads to designated depot locations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant commercial driving regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate delivery records
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times
Pay and Shift Patterns
- £22.00 to £23.00 per hour
- AM and PM starts available
- 8 to 12 hour shifts
- Day and weekends available
Qualifications
- Hold a valid CE commercial driving license, CPC card and Tachocard
- Proven 2 years plus commercial experience as a CE driver
- Less than 10 infringements in the last 12 months
- No more than 6 points or major endorsements/convictions
- Ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
