Surecall Medical Recruitment is partnering with a leading private fertility clinic in the North West to recruit an experienced Senior Embryologist.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform the full range of embryology procedures, including oocyte retrieval, IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, grading and transfer
- Carry out vitrification and warming of oocytes and embryos
- Perform sperm preparation and andrology procedures
- Take a lead role in the day-to-day running of the laboratory
- Supervise, train and mentor junior embryologists and trainees
- Contribute to quality management, audits, SOP development and KPI monitoring
- Make sure all work complies with HFEA regulations and the clinic’s quality management system
- Communicate with patients about treatment progress and embryo development
- Work closely with consultants, nurses and the wider multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- HCPC-registered Clinical Scientist or AGCS-registered Embryologist
- Significant post-qualification experience in a clinical embryology laboratory
- Independent competency in ICSI, vitrification and embryo assessment
- Experience supervising or training junior staff
- Strong knowledge of HFEA requirements and quality management systems
- Experience with time-lapse imaging and/or embryo biopsy (PGT) desirable
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-focused approach
