Hours: 40 hours per week (Option to reduce to 37.5 hours)

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Engineer to lead our dispatch operations. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the smooth, accurate, and timely dispatch of IT assets, while upholding our high standards for quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the dispatch team in day-to-day operations.
  • Actively participate in testing, picking, packing, and shipping of IT assets.
  • Prioritise orders and manage workflows in coordination with the Dispatch and Sales teams.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, product issues, or shipment errors promptly.
  • Monitor stock levels in the outbound area and liaise with the Purchasing team to ensure timely restocking.
  • Uphold rigorous quality control standards during testing and order preparation.
  • Keep testing processes current and escalate any concerns to directors.
  • Provide cover across warehouse roles during staff absence due to holidays or sickness to maintain service standards.

  • Proven experience in a warehouse, dispatch, or ITAD environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead a team while also being hands-on.
