Sure Start Staff | Van Driver | Oldham & Nationwide We are looking for a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our client. This is a hands-on role involving the delivery of furniture to retail stores across the UK and Ireland. If you’re a safe driver with strong communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team, we’d love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: * Safely drive delivery vans to transport furniture and goods to customer locations nationwide (including Ireland). * Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle (heavy lifting required). * Adhere to all road safety rules and company driving standards. * Keep the delivery van clean, organized, and well-maintained. * Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure deliveries are accurate and efficient. * Assist with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading, stock-taking, and general housekeeping. What We\'re Looking For: * Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, ideally in a similar industry. * Valid UK driving licence (clean licence required). * Comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks. * Good communication and teamwork skills. * Basic computer skills (for delivery logs, inventory, etc.). * Strong focus on customer service. * Flexible with working hours (Monday to Friday with occasional variations).
