Sure Start Staff are recruiting Street Cleansing Operatives to work outdoors, maintaining public spaces.
Location: Oldham
Hours: Mon–Thurs: 7:30 am–4:00 pm / Fri: 7:30 am–12:10 pm
Pay: £12.71 per hour
You will be part of a team responsible for street cleansing work across the town, contributing to excellent service delivery. You will carry out tasks such as sweeping, collecting, and removing litter, glass, furniture, graffiti, fly-posting, dirt, leaves, and weeds.
Duties include:
- Litter picking and emptying bins
- Sweeping pavements
- Reporting graffiti and fly-tipping
- Outdoor work in all weather
- Manual labour, including walking and lifting
Requirements:
- Full clean driving licence – PREFERRED
- Physically fit and health & safety aware
- Two years of references required
