Salary: £13.15 per hour
Hours: 38 hours per week | Rotating Shift Pattern
Shifts & Breaks:
- 2-shift rotation: 6 am–2:10 pm / 2 pm–10:10 pm
- 1 x 35-minute meal break + 2 x 10-minute breaks per shift
We are currently recruiting for various roles, including Assembly Operatives, to join a busy and growing production site based in Chadderton. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and prior experience in a production or machine operating environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a range of production machinery, including cutting, heat seaming, perforating, slitting, and stitching equipment.
- Pack, label, and store finished goods safely and accurately.
- Input production data and produce labels using computer systems.
- Inspect and quality-check products, isolating any non-conforming items.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas in line with Health & Safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and shift teams.
- Follow company processes and report any hazards or faults immediately.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in a busy production or manufacturing environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and timekeeping.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable approach to work.
