Our client, a Financial Services organisation, are looking for a passionate technologist with expertise in delivering innovative software solutions. You will work on multiple diverse and impactful projects which will involve developing robust, scalable systems, advising business teams, and enhancing digital literacy across the organisation.
Role Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams across the business to design and deliver tailored solutions that address unmet needs.
- Develop and maintain software infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Develop automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency and streamline product deployments.
- Create high-quality technical documentation, including process diagrams, to support knowledge sharing.
- Participate in cross-team prioritisation to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
- Upskill and empower colleagues by sharing technical expertise and best practices.
Skills / Experience
- Expertise in C# .NET Development, including microservices architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong experience with Azure and AWS, leveraging tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, with a passion for automating processes.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, including TDD and BDD, to drive quality development.
- Demonstrable problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills, with strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work across functional teams, engage stakeholders, and present complex technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with Microsoft technologies, including PowerApps, Power BI, and SharePoint Online.
- Knowledge of SQL Server, Python for lightweight solutions, and YAML for pipeline management.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and networking concepts.
- Experience in financial services.
