Our client is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their operations at a waste and recycling facility in North London. This is a hands-on supervisory role, leading day-to-day site activities and managing operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise 3-10 operatives per shift
- Oversee site operations including waste in/out, mobile plant, and site activities
- Manage multiple workstreams across the site
- Use site systems such as SCADA, VMS, and weighbridge systems
- Proven supervisory experience in a site-based environment (construction, industrial, utilities, or similar)
- Strong IT, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Confident managing teams and operational systems
- Waste industry experience desirable but not essential
- Shift start times between 6:00am - 9:30am
- 8-12 hour shifts, average 39 hours per week
- 1 in 3 weekends (day shifts only)
- Immediate start
- Initial 2-month contract with potential to become permanent
Supervisors will work as part of a wider leadership team with full operational support.
