Location - Bristol
Pay - £12.71 to £15.04 per hour including holiday pay plus great benefits & overtime
Shifts - 2:30PM to 2:30AM - 4 days off 4 days on Monday to Friday and weekends
Experience of using a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) desirable
Role Overview
Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Operative, where you'll play a vital role in our daily operations! Your responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading trailers
- Accurately picking orders
- Utilising hand scanners to manage stock
This position calls for a commitment to physical fitness, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on safety in a dynamic environment. Experience of using PPT equipment is desirable for this role.
Requirements
- Previous experience of warehouse work and familiarity with using PPT equipment
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers
- Utilise hand scanners for precise order processing
- Utilising PPT equipment where required
- Sort and store goods with care
- Prepare pallets for dispatch
- Verify goods against delivery notes for accuracy
- Uphold cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience with loading/unloading trailers or heavy goods preferred
- Comfort with hand scanners is essential
- Must be physically fit for manual tasks
- Reliable, team-oriented, and possess basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Prior warehouse/logistics experience is a plus!
