A leading Traffic Management and Civil Engineering company is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to operate from its depot in Ringmer, East Sussex. The role offers consistent work and the opportunity to transition into a permanent role with the company.
The Role
- Accompanied by a team of road maintenance engineers, you will be undertaking "Wag and Drag" work loading and unloading gas boilers for road Tarmac/Bitumen work.
Responsibilities
- Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles across multiple sites
- Assisting with traffic management or civil engineering projects
- Liaising with planners to complete scheduled jobs
- Adhering to all safety and compliance standards
Requirements
- "Wag and drag" experience will be beneficial
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence
- Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- CSCS Labour certificate
- Reliable and professional approach to work
