A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, independent small animal practice in St Albans. The practice offers a 4-day working week with no out-of-hours or bank holidays, ensuring a great work-life balance while maintaining a rewarding clinical caseload.

You’ll be joining a close-knit, supportive team that prides itself on high standards of patient care and a compassionate approach to clients.

Practice Highlights:
  • Independent, progressive small animal practice
  • 3 Veterinary Surgeons, 3 RVNs (including Head Nurse & Senior RVN), and 1 SVN
  • Supportive administrative and reception team
  • Modern, purpose-built facilities with:
    • Full IDEXX in-house laboratory
    • Digital (DR) X-ray and dental X-ray
    • Ultrasound and endoscopy
    • PRP and stem cell therapy
    • HT Vista, Imagyst, and laser therapy

About You:
  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon (or eligible to register)
  • Confident in both consultations and general surgery
