Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality first-opinion veterinary care across a varied small animal caseload.
- Conduct comprehensive medical consultations and examinations.
- Diagnose and manage routine and more complex medical conditions.
- Perform routine soft tissue surgical procedures appropriate to experience.
- Develop thorough diagnostic work‑ups and treatment plans.
- Build strong, long‑term relationships with clients and their pets.
- Provide clear and compassionate clinical advice.
- Maintain accurate clinical records.
- Work collaboratively with Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs and the wider practice team.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive clinical culture.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with broad GP skills, confident across everyday small animal medicine and surgery. They will ideally:
- Hold RCVS registration or be eligible to register.
- Have solid experience within UK small animal general practice.
- Be confident managing routine medical and surgical cases.
- Have strong clinical decision‑making skills.
