About the Role

We are representing an independent small animal practice in Torquay seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their experienced and supportive team. Final-year Student Veterinary Nurses (SVNs) will also be considered for this opportunity. The practice is well-established and highly regarded, with a strong team-based culture and modern facilities. With 9 Veterinary Surgeons, a large team of nurses (from senior RVNs to SVNs), and a dedicated reception and animal care assistant team, this is a fantastic environment for professional growth and delivering high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality nursing care to small animal patients
  • Supporting veterinary surgeons in both consultations and surgical procedures
  • Assisting with anaesthesia, monitoring, and recovery
  • Delivering excellent client communication and education
  • Contributing to the development of student and junior nurses

About You

  • RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse (or final-year SVN)
  • Team player with strong clinical and communication skills
  • Flexible to work full-time or part-time hours
