The role offers a salary of up to £70,000 FTE, dependent on experience, with full-time hours preferred but flexible shift patterns available to support a healthy work-life balance. The practice is an established, spacious standalone small animal veterinary practice in Sutton Coldfield, which has recently undergone an extension to create an even more comfortable working environment.

The experienced team includes 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 RVNs, Student Veterinary Nurses, 3 Client Care Advisors, a Practice Manager and an Insurance Administrator. The practice also benefits from visiting specialists in orthopaedics and cardiac imaging, providing opportunities for the team to develop their knowledge and skills while managing more advanced cases. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality first-opinion veterinary care.
- Manage a varied small animal medical and surgical caseload.
- Conduct thorough consultations and diagnostic work-ups.
- Perform routine surgical procedures confidently.
- Work collaboratively with Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs and support colleagues.
- Build strong relationships with clients and their pets.
- Support clinical development and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Take advantage of visiting specialist support for more advanced cases.
- Develop individual clinical interests through CPD and certificate study.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and high standards of patient welfare.
