An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a thriving and fast-growing small animal practice in Stockport, Cheshire. This role offers a salary of up to £35,000 pro rata (DOE), excellent clinical support, and genuine opportunities for career progression within a large and experienced team.

This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, with flexibility for the right candidate. The rota includes 1 in 4 full weekends and 1 in 4 single days, with no out-of-hours or overnight inpatient checks, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RVN looking to fully utilise their nursing skills in a busy and varied clinical environment with no sole charge and strong support from a highly experienced clinical team.

About the Practice: This is a well-established and highly respected small animal practice with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional patient and client care. Established for over 20 years, the practice has grown significantly and now supports a team of 60+ colleagues, handling a large and diverse caseload of over 1,000 consultations per week.

The practice benefits from excellent facilities including 3 surgical theatres, a dedicated dental suite, dental radiography, digital radiography, ultrasound, and visiting specialists supporting advanced orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, imaging, and endoscopy. They pride themselves on maintaining high clinical standards, a strong team culture, and a collaborative working environment where development is actively encouraged.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage patient admissions and discharges
  • Monitor anaesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
  • Provide high-quality inpatient care and patient recovery monitoring
  • Work closely with support staff on theatre preparation and patient care
  • Deliver excellent client communication and customer service
  • Support the wider nursing and clinical team in maintaining high standards of care

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
