An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a thriving and fast-growing small animal practice in Stockport, Cheshire. This role offers a salary of up to £35,000 pro rata (DOE), excellent clinical support, and genuine opportunities for career progression within a large and experienced team.
This position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, with flexibility for the right candidate. The rota includes 1 in 4 full weekends and 1 in 4 single days, with no out-of-hours or overnight inpatient checks, supporting a healthy work-life balance.

Established for over 20 years, the practice has grown significantly and now supports a team of 60+ colleagues, handling a large and diverse caseload of over 1,000 consultations per week.
The practice benefits from excellent facilities including 3 surgical theatres, a dedicated dental suite, dental radiography, digital radiography, ultrasound, and visiting specialists supporting advanced orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, imaging, and endoscopy. Responsibilities:
- Manage patient admissions and discharges
- Monitor anaesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
- Provide high-quality inpatient care and patient recovery monitoring
- Work closely with support staff on theatre preparation and patient care

- Support the wider nursing and clinical team in maintaining high standards of care
