The practice is an established, growing small animal veterinary surgery with a friendly and supportive team of 11 clinical and non-clinical colleagues .
The clinical team includes 3 Veterinary Surgeons , including a colleague with a certificate in orthopaedics , providing an excellent source of knowledge and clinical support.
The practice sees a varied caseload and encourages its Veterinary Surgeons to work cases up to a high clinical standard. Facilities include 3 consultation rooms and a spacious working environment with dedicated kitchen and office space for colleagues.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality first-opinion veterinary care across a varied small animal caseload.

Conduct thorough consultations using 20-minute appointment slots .

Diagnose and manage medical cases appropriately.

Perform routine surgical procedures confidently.

Develop appropriate diagnostic and treatment plans.

Provide continuity of care and follow-up for patients.

Utilise dedicated administration time effectively.

Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be a confident General Practice Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys a balanced medical and surgical caseload.
They should be personable, clinically capable and committed to providing a high standard of care while developing strong relationships with both clients and colleagues.
The successful candidate will ideally:

Hold RCVS registration or be eligible to register.

Have previous UK small animal general practice experience.

Be confident with routine consultations and procedures.

Have sound clinical and decision-making skills.
