Role Overview

The Registered Veterinary Nurse will work across both practice sites, supporting a wide range of clinical activities including inpatient care, assisting with surgical procedures, and emergency triage. Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality inpatient nursing care

  • Working collaboratively with the wider veterinary and nursing team

Working Pattern

  • Shift-based rota including:
  • Early shifts: 6:45am – 3:45pm
  • Day shifts: 8:30am – 5:30pm
  • Evening shifts: 9:30am – 6:30pm
  • Late shifts: 10:30am – 7:30pm
  • 1 in 5 weekend rota
  • Waking night shifts approximately 1 in 15, with time off before and after night blocks

Candidate Requirements

  • RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
  • Experience in small animal practice preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
