About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join a friendly and welcoming small animal practice in Bramley, West Yorkshire.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with 1 in 3 Saturdays, no OOH and no overnight inpatient checks.
The role offers a salary of up to £30,000, depending on experience, alongside generous CPD, funded certificate support, paid professional memberships and ongoing career development.

About the Practice
The practice has recently undergone a significant refurbishment, creating a modern and well-equipped clinical environment while retaining the character of a historic former school building.
Located in the heart of Bramley, West Yorkshire, the practice benefits from ample on-site parking and provides a welcoming environment for both colleagues and clients.
The nursing team plays an important role in delivering high standards of inpatient and perioperative care, with support from Veterinary Care Assistants and Student Veterinary Nurses for patient preparation and theatre turnaround.
Responsibilities
- Admit and discharge patients efficiently and professionally.
- Monitor patients under anaesthesia.
- Assist with surgical procedures and patient preparation.
- Monitor and support patients throughout recovery.
- Provide high standards of inpatient and hospital care.
- Maintain excellent patient welfare and clinical standards.
- Assist with theatre preparation and turnaround.
- Work collaboratively with Veterinary Surgeons, RVNs, VCAs and Student Veterinary Nurses.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the patient journey.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
- Participate in CPD and ongoing professional development.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse with solid general nursing skills and a genuine passion for animal welfare.
They should be a confident communicator with excellent customer service skills and a positive, approachable attitude.
The successful candidate will enjoy working within a close-knit team and be willing to support colleagues across all areas of the practice.
Strong organisational skills, enthusiasm and a commitment to delivering high standards of patient care are essential.
