An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Tax Senior to join a busy accountancy practice in Sunderland. This full-time role offers a competitive salary (£34,000 - £40,000), flexible working options, and exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients, including sole traders, landlords, directors, non-resident individuals, and trusts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients including sole traders, landlords, directors, non-resident individuals, and trusts

• Prepare and submit Self-Assessment Tax Returns, 60-day Capital Gains Tax returns, and P11Ds where applicable

• Communicate tax liabilities to clients and ensure timely payments

• Identify tax planning opportunities and communicate them to Partners

• Assist the Tax Manager and Partners with ad-hoc advisory projects

About You

• ATT qualified or qualified by experience

• Experience managing a portfolio of clients within a busy accountancy practice

• Strong knowledge of personal tax compliance and advisory

• Experience with Self-Assessment Tax Returns and P11D process

• Ability to research and communicate technical tax information to colleagues and clients

• Proactive, driven, and committed to delivering excellent client service

• Prior knowledge of Digita Personal Tax software advantageous, but full training provided if required
