Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant (AAT/ACA/ACCA Qualified, QBE considered) to join their professional accounting practice in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of client accounts, lead financial reporting, and work with a passionate team delivering top-quality accounting services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Sole Trader, Partnership, and Ltd Company accounts for review

• Prepare Corporation Tax Returns and VAT Returns

• Prepare Management Accounts and financial reports

• Manage own workload, meet deadlines, and delegate tasks effectively

• Provide high-quality accounting support and advice to clients

What They Are Looking For

• AAT, ACA, or ACCA Qualified (QBE considered)

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a practice environment

• Proficient with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage

• Strong arithmetic, mathematical, and analytical skills

• Ability to delegate and manage tasks efficiently

• Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach
