An established and reputable accountancy firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, experienced professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and client-focused environment.
The successful candidate will manage a varied portfolio of clients and play a key role in delivering high-quality accountancy and tax services, while also supporting junior team members through mentorship and reviews.
- Managing a portfolio of clients across various industries
- Preparing and submitting year-end accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies
- Preparing and submitting Corporation Tax Computations
- Compiling and submitting quarterly VAT returns
- Conducting file reviews for all client types to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Providing training and mentorship to junior staff members
Minimum of 4 years’ experience working within an accountancy practice
- Proven experience with year-end accounts, tax returns, and VAT submissions
- Confident managing multiple client relationships
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
