About the Role As a Senior Accountant, you’ll work closely with a broad portfolio of clients, helping them stay compliant while supporting their growth with practical financial advice. This role combines accounts preparation, compliance, and client advisory work – ideal for someone who enjoys variety and client interaction. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders in line with FRS 102 and IFRS. Complete and review VAT returns, P11Ds, and PSA submissions. Produce management accounts, reports, and integrated cash‑flow forecasts. Oversee and review bookkeeping using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks. Support the preparation of corporation tax returns and liaise with the tax team on more complex matters. Build strong client relationships, providing proactive support and guidance. Mentor and assist junior staff to develop their technical and client‑facing skills. Ensure work is completed within deadlines and to high professional standards.
