Role Responsibilities
- Operating a 12‑tonne kerbside recycling collection vehicle or a 26‑tonne refuse/garden waste collection vehicle (RCV)
- Completing scheduled collection routes safely and efficiently
- Working alongside a team of loaders
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and adhering to safety regulations
- Assisting with loading duties when required (driver‑loader role)
Requirements
- Valid LGV C (Class 2) licence
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience in refuse or similar roles preferred
- Must arrive with basic PPE (safety boots, high‑visibility clothing)
- Willingness to assist with loading when needed
