Class 2 HGV Driver - Building Materials
Location: Angerstein, Greenwich Pay Rate: £16.82 per hour Shift: 6:00am start - 9-hour shifts Job Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent Pay: Weekly
Duties
Deliver building materials safely to construction sites and customer locations.
Collect building materials from sites and return them to the depot when required.
Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
Load, unload and ensure building materials are safely secured before transport.
Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
Follow all Driver Hours, Tachograph and Health & Safety regulations.
Requirements
Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
No more than 6 penalty points.
No DR, DD or IN endorsements.
Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
Good knowledge of London and surrounding areas.
Physically fit with a positive, reliable attitude.
