We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join a well-established Freight, Air & Sea Logistics company on a permanent basis.
The Role:
- Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle delivering and collecting freight
- Completing air and sea freight deliveries and collections
- Transporting goods safely and securely between customers, depots, and freight locations
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in line with company procedures
- Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining customer signatures
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Loading and unloading freight when required
- Working closely with the transport team to ensure efficient daily operations
- Providing excellent customer service at all delivery locations
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience required
- Experience within freight, logistics, air or sea cargo would be advantageous
- Clean DBS required
- Good understanding of driver regulations and compliance
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
